LA CALISTO

This was a speculative project based in the Hackney Empire Theatre in which I designed both set and costume.

The opera is a  story of love triangles, desire and power all becoming problematic in each characters personal journey. The highs that happen are quickly equaled out by the negatives. I wanted a space that created possibilities with out creating boundaries, allowing the worlds to intertwine and allowing the costume to help tell the story
